I had a client from Philippines who told me they had to but a two way ticket even though their parents got a super visa and will be staying two years. To me this is outright stupid my client indicated that the return ticket can only be purchased within a 12 month period they will be staying 24 month so it can never be used. I don't know the refund policy of the airlines but I advised my client to make sure they can get a full refund for the return airfare or be able to change the departure date and extend it for another year.

This is where the requirements of Citizenship and Immigration Canada detach from reality of the actual marketplace. Since it is impossible to buy a return ticket to be used in two years.

Sa IOM ba nagpamedical mother mo? follow up mo sya after 2 or 3 weeks kung na-forward ung result sa embassy.

hi sir Gary, i would like to ask if it is usual for the embassy to return all the submitted documents even though the passport of the other applicant was not yet included in the envelope? because in my case, my father's super visa was already issued including all the submitted documents but my mother's passport was not included. I applied for my parents super visa at the same time. Is this normal? Hope to hear from you. Thank you!

I am not an immigration expert I am sure the law firm hosting this site is better qualified to assist with any legal issues. Ideally they should return the documents I hope you sent them certified copies not the originals. As far as the embassy in Manila I have seen lots of things that don't make any sense, I would advise you to contract the embassy directly to avoid any problems. Is this normal probably not but again there is no such thing as normal when dealing with visas and embassies.

end of february 2013- application sent
march 4- recieved a letter from CEM- asking for additional requirements and medical
march 12- medical done
march 16- picked up the additional requirements
since then wala na kaming narecieve na letter from CEM.
