Supervisa from India

Hi. I have applied for supervisa for my parents from India in Feb2021. they did biometrics in August 2021, but there are no updates since then, despite a few emails and website questions. Should I apply for a Tourist Visa and withdraw the Supervisa Application? are tourist visas being processed faster these days? your expert advice is much appreciated. Thanks
