HI, I applied my parents super visa a year ago and there is not update yet. Biometric thing is done but in waiting list.
I have a question that can I apply visit visa while on the super visa is in waiting list?
have you tried contacting the MPP and see what is happening with this application? Alternatively you can withdraw this application and start over. Yes you can apply for Visit visa in parallel too

Try to reach out local MP. Mine is stuck from last 5 months and last week I reachout MP. Today my tracker got updated may be some moments are there but not major change in tracker. I will update you once I will get anything new to share. Again, try to reach out MP.

First my Father-In-Law went for upfront medicals and after a week, IRCC sent us an email asking to visit the same panel physician for further tests.

Then the panel doctor suggested the CT Scan and then the consultation with the Specialist doctor. The specialist doctor said everything is clear and directed the panel physician to give clearance.

But not sure what panel physician has written in the report to IRCC, again after a week we got another email saying still they have few doubts and asked to visit the same panel physician. This time they said my in-law has to undergo Sputum test which takes 3 months to get the report and then the final X-Ray.

In our case it took 4 months to get the final clearance. Then I applied for the super visa which is approved now.

In your case, if you get the clearance in the CT Scan, they may not suggest you the sputum test. Let's hope for the best.

Hi, almost similar situation. We did upfront medicals for my mother. And received an email from IRCC after few days to go to the same panel physician who then referred to take Sputum Test for 3 days back to back on 28,29,30 Nov 2023. She completed that and received an initial report that nothing is detected. I think they told her the initial report has been reported to IRCC and final result will come after 60 days and will be reported to IRCC as well. We have all the proofs of her tests and initial report.

However, I didn't know if I have to wait for 60 days or not to apply visa because they already gave the initial report, So, I submitted her super visa application on January 11,2024 along with all these proofs in additional documents section.

Today, in the application I observed that the status of medical has changed to "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam."

Will the application process take longer time than usual ?

yes just like mine. I have applied already then I received additional test. in your case you will have to wait 60 days for the sputum test and the 2nd X ray exactly after 3 months. It won't affect anything else just hte medicals will remain pending and once they pass, visa will be processed.

Hello. Okay. 60 days since Sputum test was completed as of January 30. What is this 2nd Xray? My mother hasn't been informed of that.

Hello everyone, I have a situation. I applied for a super visa for both of my parents on 17 Jan. Father got biometric request on 26 Jan, however Mother is still waiting.

Both parents had done biometrics in 2018 and were still valid (that time they got super visa for 4 years only), but I wanted them to do it again to get a 10-year visa this time. Father did his biometric yesterday and it’s updated online already. Mother is still waiting for the biometric request. I sent a webform request already couple of weeks ago.

Any thoughts

That is strange. I checked with my mom, she wasn't told anything at the hospital about coming back for 2nd Xray.

When did your father complete the Sputum test?

I have a quick question regarding the minimum income requirements for super visa.

My gross earning in 2023 was around 55000 which will be shown in the tax documents.

The minimum income requirement for 4 people is around 52000. Do i need to exceed the minimum income requirements by 30% to be able to sponsor my parents for super visa ?

Hi guys,

I have a quick question to ask. If any of you could answer it I’d greatly appreciate it.

I applied for PR for my wife through spousal sponsorship and she got AOR, medicals and biometrics done. The application is in progress.

Now I am planning to apply for a Super Visa for my mother. She’s widowed.

Can I include the total members in family as 2 (mother and me) or 3 (mother, me and wife)?
Do I still need to count my spouse in for Super Visa application since she isn’t in Canada?

I have to mention the current family members in my Mom’s Super Visa application in order to meet the family income requirements.

Please respond.

Thanks in advance.
