All that was needed was the passport with the super visa counterfoil inside and insurance upon re-entry at Pearson International.
Timeline:
Entered May 2022 for the first time with 2 years (full stay.)
Left to go abroad on Sept. 9, 2023 for 8 days.
Came back to Toronto, Sept. 17, 2023.
Questions asked were very few: "So you left and came back? Do you have insurance? How long are you staying?"
We told them five years. They stamped the customs ticket, not the passport, which we took a picture of before handing it over to the final customs officer upon exit to the carousels.
