Med's Done....
upfront
My mother in law applied for super visa about 3 months ago. We received a rejection email last week. Apparently, we did not comply with their request for medical testing. Now this is untrue; medical was done and we attached the paper we received from the hospital along with the file, and they should have received the test report from hospital directly. But this is what their email said:

You have not complied with our request for information, as per section 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. To date, you have failed to comply with our request for: Completion of a medical examination

We did not receive any email or mail about any request. What are my options now? Can I do anything besides filling in a fresh application? The problem with that is that I have moved province and no longer have the job which i had. It would take some time to get another job and then some more time before I get a couple of pay slips. I guess my queries are:

1. Is there any email address to which i can write a request, asking them to reconsider the case, because we did not receive any communication from their side> (although it seems that are not very helpful on this front).

2. Since right now I do not have a job, is it possible for me to re file the case with old job letter (it was from october last, 2017 that is). I do have last year's tax return.

3.OR; is it acceptable that I re file again, without a job letter?

I am in a pickle right now; all or any devious suggestions are welcome along with the straight ones.

If you complied ever since, and it seems like it was a mistake on IRCC's part, you can request the visa office to reconsider the rejection and explain you never received such emails, better if you provide proof of your compliance (screencaps, etc):
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
Or look for your home country's visa office and email them:

Unfortunately, oversights like these do happen. The visa officers are human too. Sorry it had to happen to you.

You can also request for the case notes, which would include any record of outgoing correspondence and their decision, but it will take 30 days to receive:

I think you can only focus on appealing this decision because of the medical. No need to worry about a new application yet.

Contact the visa office and ask for reconsideration - mentioning that the medical was completed in advance and proof included with the application.

If that fails, submit a new application for a regular TRV. Don't commit misrepresentation by saying you have a job you no longer have to qualify for a super visa. That could result in an inadmissibility situation for your mother in law.
