Visa Office......
Manila
Good day,

My mother in law needs to go back to our home country for 3 months. She was given 6 months upon initial entry that expired on July 2018. We re-applied and she was approved for another year (July 2019). Question is:

1.) Will it be smart to buy her new insurance upon re-entry? (It will expire this December 2018).
2.) Will her stay be extended upon re-entering Canada or will pretty much just follow her July 2019 end date.

She needs CAD 100,000 insurance coverage for each super visa entry. It is a mandatory requirement.

2.) Will her stay be extended upon re-entering Canada or will pretty much just follow her July 2019 end date.
It will be considered as a new entry. And, the POE officer will decide the length of the new stay
