NEED help! Super visa - low personal savings and past TRV refusal

Hi everyone,

I’m preparing a Super Visa application for my mother and would appreciate some advice.

My wife and I are expecting our first baby, and we would like my mother to visit Canada to spend time with our family. I’m a Canadian PR and meet the income requirement. My father will remain in India while my mother visits Canada, and she has property ties in India.

My concern is that we previously applied for visitor visas for both my parents about 3 years ago when I was still on a work permit. The application was refused because the officer was not satisfied they would leave Canada at the end of their stay.

I have a few questions:
  1. I would appreciate advice on: Does having limited personal savings create a concern if I am financially supporting the visit? i am worried about when they ask how much fund the applicant have to support the visit. the personal saving ammount is very low
  2. Besides property ownership and family ties, what other documents or explanations are helpful?
  3. For a planned longer visit, should I show a refundable return flight tickets in the application.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
