Hello,

I am thinking about bringing in my parents through the 10 year super visa program. So I started looking for the mandatory private health insurance aspect. I got quotes from 4-5 reputable institutions, including some of the big 5 banks, and the average quote came to be 2000 dollar per person/ per year!!

does anyone know of any company that will provide cheaper health insurance?

Thanks.

My mom in law is 64, no health issues, paid around $1300/yr for hers.

Premiums will depend on your parents' age, health, history of cancer/heart attack, etc.

Agreed. The cost is highly influenced by age and health.
