My dad's Supervisa was denied today the reason that we did not provide proof of private medical insurance from a Canadian company. I don't understand, we provided 1 year supervisa insurance from Manulife, paid in full and submitted that with the application. There is no appeal process, should i contact my MP? any suggestions are appreciated.
At what stage they refuse?
Eligibilty was completed or in progress ?

Just to give an update. We submitted a web form and didn’t hear anything. Got our MP’s office involved. They reopened the file as they stated it was a simple mistake.
We are over the processing time but the file has been reopened.

Hi Zagi, have you received any decision on your case?

Hello Everyone, Please share your kind feedback and help me to take wise steps as I related to the same issue mentioned in this thread.

So I applied for my father's (Super Visa) and the intended date was January 5th, 2024 so I bought insurance in installments effective from the same date. But I didn't hear back until January 24th, 2024 requesting Medical from my father. He is scheduled for 29th Jan (tomorrow). I changed the effective date from 5th January to 10th February 2024. What should I do to avoid rejection?

Hello, I am in similar situation and my mothers application was rejected with same reason stating medical tests were not completed even though we completed them in time. I was thinking to reach to MP’s office and wanted to see if that helped your application or how long did it take to approve after reopening?
