am applying supervisa for my dada. in the main application form there is UCI number at top. since there are past 2 TRV refusals for my dad, do we have to write the UCI number?

in the instructions its given as below:
Type your universal client identification number (UCI), if known. Otherwise, leave it blank. If this is your first time dealing with CIC you will not have a UCI.

Funds available for my stay- amount available to be written in Dad's account or my account?

1. Put in your UCI number.
2. "My stay" - as in applicant as in your dad, not your funds.

March 29: Passport received by VAC
March 31: Application was approved (updated in cic account)

Hi Enzo24, I read that you were worried about them issuing a regular visitor's visa for your parents, now that they received the visa can you confirm what visa was it? PG1? or Visitor's?

Congratulations for the visa, I submitted my dad application with Upfront medical on March 4 and received Medical passed updated on March 10.

But no passport request yet.

I applied for my mom's supervisa (paper application, dropped at VFS Mumbai and being processed in Bangalore VO)
With upfront medicals and passport sent along with application.

Timeline:
21/03/2017 - Dropped Application at the VFS.
22/03/2017 - Received a mail from VFS saying it's been forwarded to Bangalore or Delhi
23/03/2017 - Tracked the application ID using VFS tracking - Which mentioned the application is being processed in Bangalore VO
23/03/2017 - Successfully linked the application on cic's site
04/04/2017 - Medicals passed (Status update on the CIC's site)

The status on the CIC site is:
Application status We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents Not applicable.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Some applicants are in the form already crossed the timeline and some about to reach.

My dad application also waiting for decision and counting 31+ days.

Hello Guys.

Its good to be on this forum after almost 2 years. This is a wonderful forum and really helped me a lot during my own immigration process.

Right now, I am intending to apply for super visa of parents from Pakistan. Any one here who has applied or applying? Please share your experiences.

Plus if some one can guide:

1. Do we need to send a cover letter with application from parents side?
2. What kind of financial proof is acceptable and is there any minimum requirement?
3. What is the effective and best mode to apply. Online or VFS?
4. Any other advise please.

Dug a little deeper, followed some twitter conversations etc.

Looks like none of super visa online applications from this year have been processed. I followed at least 2 CIC twitter conversations where people who have applied mid January are still waiting for a decision and there are few on this forum from Jan 2017 still waiting.

So my assumptions were correct. The online applications are in la la land, with nobody or in a queue that is packed more than a can of sardines.

Please send CSEs, twitter, social media messages. Make some noise. It is not going to change anything overnight, if we are lucky somebody is going to notice it and will be helpful for future online applicants.

I don't know if a lot of people in this part of the forum know much about Citizenship RQs from a couple of years ago. People on this very forum started tweeting Jason Kenny, Chris Alexander, writing mails to CIC, talking to local MPs and guess what? It did take 2 years, but nobody gets an RQ anymore.

Remember the noise we make is always going to help the next in line.
