Hi guys,
For which part of the application are local VOs responsible ? I thought local VOs are responsible only for the very last part off the application which is the PPR.

I thought local VOs were responsible in old immigration system. :-X

could anyone plz share some informative links regarding post ITA?? I spent all of my time gathering info about how to get ITA and now when i am near to getting it i dont have proper information on how to do it. would be great if experienced people share some useful links here.
thanks :)

Dear all,

I hav uploaded my file on 14 oct 2015 and got ppr on 26 oct. then I sent my passport through vfs on 27 oct. I'm still waiting for any update from visa office. It's been more than two weeks but I havnt received my passport back. Cant wait, worried if everything fine or nt :(

Please suggest how long it should take after ppr? My status shown is decision made and visa file processing at Delhi visa office.
Thanks

Thank you!

I think a lot of it has to do with the officer assigned to the case and the applicant's past history with CIC. My 2nd application was fast tracked to PPR in 10 days while my 1st application was refused on a technicality after a 4 month waiting period.

Any idea on timelines of FSW app from USA? Hoping they are as fast as India :)

Don't know if it is India, Jamaica, Nigeria or Western Europe because applicants from each of these regions have reported super-express processing in the past! The trend was first noticed in April when a Jamaican lady got her PPR within 4 weeks from e-APR. And we thought that was fast! ;)

US applicants, on average, have reported slower processing though. Probably because you are so close anyways that CIC figures you wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer before moving North.

Lol that made me laugh! Actually, I stayed in Canada for 3 years then moved here but now trying to go back. Also, do you know if I would need PCC from Canada? I have PCC from India and US.

I am not OCT AOR. I am partly Aug. partly Nov :)
A few hours ago I have received an email from my local VO - Request for Submission of Passports !
Still cannot believe this.
I have two applications - one was mistakenly cancelled - AOR August 24th.
So I reapplied with a new one while I waited for the other to be reopened. The new one AOR was Nov.15th. And the new one was just approved (No access to Ecas, MYCIC no change).

Are you a FSW/Inland applicant?
