I am an Inernational student in the final semester of my Master's program. My wife is working with open work permit. Both of our permits are expiring on oct 31,2010. I am in the verge of submitting my thesis by October 1st week.Then I intend to apply for Postgraduate work pemit.
Currently my wife is preganant and she is due in 1st week of November. My question is it safe to extend my study permit befor applying for PGWP? Can I extend her work permit with my extension? I don't want to be here on implied status as it would be a big trouble for my wife during her delivery?
Please suggest me some ideas. I greatly appreciate your inputs.
