suggestions for us greencard holder visiting canada

my husband has filed my sponsership for Canada and I am a US greencard holder. can i go and visit him ? will this be a big issue that my file is in process and I am visiting him for couple of months ? as US greencard holder can stay in Canada for upto 6months.
what questions will the immigration officers will be asking me.. plzz help

As you have a US green card, you could visit Canada and the time allowed will depend on the discretion of the BSA at Canadian boarder. You may need to explain your intention to return within the allowed period. Sometimes the officer may ask to show some proof of your strong ties with US, which is your job or profession to ensure that you will return.
