I am planning to apply for Canadian PR in express entry. I need some suggestions.

I had applied for PR before as Social worker because I did little work during my studies. But due to some discrepancies, application got rejected and I got letter that it has been rejected but I might been inadmissible for 2 years however, I replied them to convince my case but I never got any reply from department. Now its been more then three years to this matter

I am a software engineer with 10 years of exp, want to apply in new process. So, the suggestion I need that with new application, do I need mention the social work experience also or I can skip it?

It is urgent please help me to do so.

If your occupation falls under NOC (2011) 0,A or B and you want to claim points for it, then YES. Otherwise, don't bother telling them that experience.

Thanks so much fro the reply. I will exclude that experience as that is not my IT relevance, further just one more question that is was that past rejection case that I have mentioned above cause any hurdle in my current case?

I really appreciate your response.

Unless it was misrepresentation, it will not have any sizable impact but if you misrepresented earlier, then your application will be scrutinized very closely to see if you have given any false information again.

The situation that I explained earlier, the reason of rejection was misrepresentation as mentioned it the letter I received from Canadian Immigration. So that social worker experience I will not mention again which I did during my correspondence studies. Being an IT guy I have total 10 years of experience in multinational firms. Whatever I have is all Genuine and validated. Please let me know, is this right way my thinking to move on.

In that scenario, you must contact an immigration lawyer to see if you are eligible to apply. If you misrepresented in your PR application, you are (I'm sorry) ineligible to apply for 5 years under the current law. I strongly suggest you to consider getting legal help.

Hope this helps.

The OP was only banned for 2 years - not 5. The misrepresentation ban was only increased to 5 years recently.

Yea, alright. I am not sure when this change happened that's why I said the current ban period is 5 years.

I still think that the OP can use legal help. What do you say?
