Submitting passports for PR visa in person at Detroit

My wife is from a U.S visa-exempt country but I am not. I am the principal applicant. Is there a way my wife can go to submit our passports for visa stamping at the Canadian Consulate? They do accept in person submission on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Don't think that's possible. The principal applicant is needed. Why bother? Just send it via courier...you'll get it back in 2 weeks.
