Submitted application without barcodes. Will the app. be returned?

Hello all,

My wife's sponsorship application was delivered to the CIC office in Mississauga on Oct. 5. However, I realized afterwards that the barcodes did not print on the application (because of using a Mac) and I expect they will return the application.
How long will it take for them to return the application? Or will they process the sponsorship part of the application and forward to the visa office and the visa office will return the application?

Chances are it willbe returned as they are required to be includedin the application. We have seen them be returned 4-8 weeks after being opened - this could take a few weeks after delivery. They send via snail
