Submission Status "PENDING" in IRCC Portal

Hey guys.

I re-submitted by Visitor Visa Applicant in IRCC Portal, but instead of being transferred to the "Submitted Applications" section, it showing "PENDING" under the "Haven't Submitted" section.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

But I am guessing they'll update it from PENDING to the submitted section, soon.

Thank you. They have transferred it to the SUBMITTED section, and sent ne an update in email. I am waiting for them to include my UCI number and update biometrics.

I think you apply normally, since it is an online application.

No. IRCC has not authorized is to do so. They (IRCC) will withdraw the first application when there's a decision on the new application.

That's right; it's IRCC to withdraw the first application, not us.
The only group of people IRCC has authorized to withdraw applications, are those who no longer wish to travel to Canada!

I have the same issue now. I submitted a new application in IRCC portal for my mom (with pending app in Gckey since April - no movement although she has biometrics and all).

How long did it took your app to get transferred to the submitted section? Also, did you got the approval by now? A lot of people are getting it in less than a week. thanks!

Hi, I met the same issue of pending, submitting on Nov. 20 at about 14:00, and up to 18:25, it is still as pending, how long it takes for your status be changed to submitted?
