Subject to Tax if PR and living outside ?

Hello

- My family and I landed in Dec 2008. Stayed only a week and we all left Canada.
- My Wife and 2 Children settled down in Aug-2012 after 3 and 1/2 years of absence.
- I only lived 70 days in Canada (short visits) and my PR expires after a month Dec-2013.

Am I supposed to pay income Taxes on Salary made outside Canada during these first 3 and 1/2 years
of Total absence ?

No. This isn't the USA. (that only applies to US citizens anyway)
