Study while on Implied Status?

Hi, I recently applied for PR + OWP to get implied status, my wife is looking to take some engish courses at a small ESL Institute that take VISA HOLDERS as students.

I called they said that you can study up to 6 months as a Visitor.

My question is, does my wife need to extend her visitor status? or can she study under implied visitor status up to 6 months?

AM I ALLOWED TO STUDY AT CCI-LEX IF I AM IN CANADA ON A VISITOR'S VISA?
Citizenship and Immigration Canada allows visitors to study for up to six months.

Implied visitor status is same as regular visitor status so she is fine to study as long as the course is not over 6 months in duration. ESL class should be fine.
