Study visa while in EE pool

Hi all,
1. Does one need to withdraw their file from the Express Entry (FSW) pool while applying for the study permit ?
2. While applying for offer letter from universities ?
3. Can one have two active applications (Study visa application and EE profile/PR) simultaneously ?
