I am international student in my second semester and I am planning to take only one course this semester as I am planning to change my program from next year. Will this affect my status in any way should I be worried??

Are you graduating from this program? Are you changing DLI? Starting a new program?

So if not changing university then you start over from the beginning.

Take a couple of optional/elective courses in your part time semester to maintain full time status. The last thing you want is jeopardizing your chances of PGWP.
