Study permit

Hai guyz
I am an jnternational student jn canada i will be completing my studies in april 17th i had a valid visa until april 31. But i got a manager post from Walmart and need to join in may. So i am planning to do flag pulling. But my visa will be expiring jn april 31 and i will be getting my certificates in may. So should if i apply for study permit extension will i get the extension?

Study permit is no longer required to apply for PGWP, you still need valid status to be on Canada though.

You are also allowed to work as soon as you apply for PGWP so flagpolling is not strictly necessary, although some employers want to see the actual piece of paper before they hire you.
