I am a Bangladeshi citizen, currently living in Sweden. I have an Offer of Admission for a Phd program in a Canadian university. My term begins on 1st September, 2017.
I would like to apply for the Canadian study permit visa from Sweden. I am aware that there is no visa application centre in Sweden, as a result I am planning to visit Dusseldorf, Germany to provide my biometrics data and get photographed.
However, I would like to know how would I receive the final visa? Will I receive a visa sticker on my passport? In that case, where will I submit my passport and where should I receive my passport with the visa? Is there any alternative? Will the Letter of Introduction without a visa sticker be sufficient for a study permit at the Port of Entry?
Could you please suggest the best possible steps for me to obtain the study permit with regards to my current circumstances?
Please note that, I can travel to any schengen country but would require a visa to travel to the UK.
