i believe many of us waiting our applications. so after spending months preparing my application and learn from other refusals. i want you guys to self assessment your application so you can provide solid documentations.

positive factors
- no gaps in education and work
- previous travel history or other permits in other countries.
- enough funds
- ties to home country / either employment or family / assists or future plans
- program of study in Canada align with your past exp in work and education
- choice of program is convincing ( ex: not downgrading )
- good grades / young age / no ties in Canada

Negative factors

- previous denied visas
- no travel history or virgin passport
- not clear vision of the applicant background or their future plans
- questionable choice of program / does not align with applicant background
- unexplained gaps in education and work
- old age / accompanying family members or family ties in Canada
- poor financial status

a lot of people get afraid after seeing rejection rates. but bear in mind having prepared an outstanding application. your chances are high. also don't forget so many applicants apply 2 or 3 times to get accepted as they don't provide enough documents or doesn't explain what is asked in their LOE. good luck everyone and hope everyone get great news soon.

IMO, most people get rejected because their application is not properly put together - mainly because an Agent did it for them. Agents select any random course (likely based on the college they get kickbacks from) that has no bearing on the applicant's previous academic/work experience. Some applicants don't even write their own SOP, giving the Agents carte blanche to make up ridiculous lies and providing incomplete/wrong documents on their application.

indeed i see a lot of people spend a lot of money on agents or consultants where they can do everything by themselves. visa officers are well trained and they will read/ discover any lies or anything that seems suspicious. Best thing is to be completly honest and provide all details and be direct and formal with your LOE.
