Hello, I've a friend who studies in quebec so his status expired in april and he applied for extension of study permit a day before. The problem is he has been requested CAQ today which also expirednin april and he never applied for new one. Now hus stusy is complete, he has completion letter too. My question is is he eligible to apply for pgwp? I know study permit extension will be rejected because he doesn't have valid CAQ anymore. But since his study is complete can he apply for pgwp on the implied study permit status? Will his study be accepted because he has 2 weeks of it completed while on implied status?
Does anyone know what exactly could be his options?
