I am currently in Canada. My study permit was valid until April 2025. I applied in March 2025 for Study Permit Extension. The Study Permit was Refused on 25th August 2025.
My refusal letter only says: “You must leave Canada on or before the expiry of your current document or, if your document has expired, you must leave Canada immediately. Failure to do so could result in enforcement action being taken against you.”
Because of this, I’m unsure whether I am eligible to apply for Restoration or if I must leave Canada and reapply from outside.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has experience with this, I would greatly appreciate your advice.
