study permit refusal

Hi,
My study visa got rejected today from CHC Delhi. the 2 reasons given were:
-purpose of visit
-no home ties

I am planning to re-apply again because my class start this September 11
Can anyone help me on this?
application filed: July 14
Visa sent back on : July 24
I have a master degree (done through correspondence) and I have applied for a post-secondary (advanced diploma) in Mohawk College.
What shall I do to make my application stronger.

its most prob cos u already have Masters degree,..!!

u might write up a strong SOP saying wy u have to take up the PG diploma ,..!!
but chances are very slim .!!

but don loose hope,.. try to really stress what u might get by doing the diploma

yeah I was myself surprised! and was afraid this might happen.

Anyway, this time I am planning to do a pre-med check up for my second application and write a strong SOP but I don't know what kind of documents or proof they need to convince them on the "families/home ties".

I applied under general cat.

u could use some registered representative to put ur papers in place.

plus since u havnt applied under spp, try doing so this time. hopefully u'll get ur visa

I think all my documents were fine. According to me the only thing is that they want explanations which I can give details in my SOP.. They might also need some documents i might have not provided the first time...

It will be kinda impossible to get visa with this program, instead you should get admission in some post graduate diploma and then file your case.

the buddy has got a good point there mate. like me u already have a masters. in fact i got 3 years of IT experience too! so i opted for the advance diploma program 2 yrs.
make sure u read and precisely give them all documents possible. pay heed to the checklist (yes! there is one) a strong SOP can really make a difference.

fangshaw eh! well where r u from? 11th july usaid? are all ur docs in good shape? and loan? if yes then wait 15 working days. july is a very tough session for them above all be positive and keep praying.. (not only for u, for us too ;D)

one of my group of 4 friends is going to fangshawe and he applied today.. so chill.

i have paid an fees of 3.42 lacs and shown a 7.5 lacs loan , i have done my 12 th in 2010 and going for 2 years ug business finance diploma, i have done my previous studies in commerce stream which is same as the course in fanshawe.
lets see yar when will i get a good news.........

can some 1 shed some light upon my scenario?

I have done 2 yrs Bachelors of Science from Pakistan
than 2 yrs masters in economics from Pakistan
that makes it 4 yr degree which is not equivalent to masters in Canada..
can i take admission in Post baccalaureate diploma in finance which is 1 yr program.

Will they consider it a study mismatch that opting for a post baccalurate diploma after a master's degree ?
and opting for a finance program after economics and BSc...will it affect my application.
how to avoid the rejection.???
