Study permit refusal and next steps to take

(IRPR) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/index.html). I am refusing
your application.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/
section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

I posted it in wrong thread and @Naturgrl was kind enough to answer that I don’t have enough money to study in Canada. Does this mean if I get a bigger bank balance I will be good to go or there’s more I should do before I apply again?

How long is your program? Did you pay first year tution? How much did you show to support yourself? Was it your own funds? Are you single? How will you get a bigger bank balance?

Funds are an issue but there are also concerns about your ties to your country and likely the economic opportunities in your home country. I would suggest ordering GCMS notes if you want to reapply so that you can try and address all the reasons why you were denied.

How can I order the GCMS notes without having no one in Canada or an agent to help apply for it please?

How long is your program? Did you pay first year tution? How much did you show to support yourself? Was it your own funds? Are you single? How will you get a bigger bank balance?

it was a 1 year program and I only paid the tuition deposit. The amount was about 70,000 CAD but it was my dad’s company’s account. I’ll add my personal bank account which isn’t much but instead of the company, I’ll use my dad’s personal account as well. And yes, I’m single with no child or dependent.

Can’t use business accounts for personal use so yes it is a good idea to change accounts.

I had no idea it could be that since he’s the sole proprietor of the company. But I’ll refrain from using that next time

So you need to show your own personal funds, not your parents. You are not a dependant of your parents. So that is another reason for not having the funds.
