Hello everyone, here's the situation I'm facinng:
I’ve being a international student in university since september of 2015. I didn't register for any classes on 2019 winter term due to personal reasons. I got the permission from my school. They told me that's OK if I come back within 3 years. But I haven't known international students may lose they permit since one term is taken off.
My study permit which would expire on 31/07/2020. And my student visa would expire on the same date. I'm planning to go home this summer and come back to study on next fall term (September to December)

I'm worrying about do I already lose my study permit and would not allowed to re-entry to Canada on late October? And do I need to apply for extension or even for a new study permit this summer?

It would be great if someone could answer my question, I really appreciate that .

If you're saying your TRV would expire in 2020, you can enter and leave Canada whenever, I don't think the border agents care if you're currently enrolled or not.

Thank you for replying . My case is I missed one term at pass, would it affect my permit?
