Hey folks, waiting along with you all. SDS application. Applied from Mumbai.
Application submission: 24th May
Biometrics given: 30th May
Medical was given upfront, passed: 8th July.

No other update apart from this. The biometrics bit on the application status says that they have not received my fingerprints but I know my biometrics are uploaded because it shows under applicant information. For a while under application status it said " Your action required", till it finally changed to "Submitted" in mid June.

Med's Done....

I submitted a webform to update IRCC on my upfront medical on 30 May and on 31 May I got a auto reply, "thanking for contacting IRCC..." english first part and french 2nd part.

Strangely, yesterday on 20 July I got the same message reply (for the webfom submited on 30 may) but this time it is French in the first part, followed by english.

I don't see any changes in the my account. Does this mean anything? or is it just a glitch? My college is in Toronto though.

Hey guys!

I applied for a student visa from Malaysia on the 27th of May, Biometrics done and uploaded on the 9th of June. From then till now there has been no update/changes to my application and my school term will start on the 6th of September. They have not requested for my medical aswell and Malaysia is a country where one is required for the visa.

I am worried I will not receive my visa on time, especially with all the talks of delays and backlogs etc. My school term starts on the 6th of September but I would preferably like to be in Canada by the end of August to attend the orientation as well as accustom myself to the dorms and campus. Realistically would I be fine given that there is still a month and a few weeks left till school begins or would having to defer be a likely outcome?

Anyone who could share their timeline or offer any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
I have seen a number of may applications that are being processed this week from 1st to somewhere around the 11th. Keep the faith and stay positive.

Applications from China (expats in China) for SP and OWP for spouse via SDS
Applications submitted: 8 May
Biometrics given both: 12 May
Biometrics updated (prime SP applicant): 12 May
Medical updated (prime SP applicant): 29 June
Spouses's application has not have any updates as of now. Biometrics still reads "we have not received your biometrics", but the status was changed on June 8 from "your action is required" to "submitted" and biometric information is present in the applicant information box
Eligibility: has not yet started for both

Today is exactly 10 weeks since biometrics given

Nails already bitten, trying to leave my eyebrows alone :D

In my case, when I sent the application, I did not have the final result of my daughter's CAQ. I sent the Acknowledge of Receipt.
When I received her CAQ, I sent it through webform, but apparently they did not receive it, or did not process it.
So they asked me to upload the actual CAQ, which I did in less than 2 hours after receiving the request.
