Study Permit Interview

I got a call from cbsa officer and later mailed regarding at interview to discuss my study permit. I am afraid if they gonna deport me.
I was on academic suspension but while that period i was studying in bcit as a part timer. I am not sure what to do. I called that officer back he said he wanted to discuss that how my studies are going?
Should i approach a lawyer?

Doesnt colleges have to report international students on suspensions. Quit?
