Study permit in 7 days only. is it true?????

Hi All,

I submitted my application on 25May.
On 30Ma I checked via online it displays "processing".
Today (7June) I checked again it says "Your Passport has been sent to Operation Center from Canadian Embassy/Consulate."

What happened to me? Did I issue visa or it denied? it is too fast. Is there anybody has this same situation? Please share your experience.

in INDIA students got visa even in 4 days under spp.
from where u applied.

1. How can you expect an answer if you don't specify your country?
2. Indian friends are getting visas in 3-4 days (The average time is 3 weeks of CHC Delhi)

1. Average time of this embassy is 4 weeks.
2. Did you apply under SPP?
3. Hope for the best, It is a visa.

my status is

i am 28 years old IT engineer in biggest cellular phone company in Mongolia. 5 years of experience. going to pursue my master degree.
single, female. maybe it is no ties to my home country. that is why i am worrying now.

Hey guys,

Today I collected my passport from visa application center. my passport delivery delayed due to awful weather of Mongolia. Visa has been stamped on 4th of June. in case of medical, I have already done it before my submission. Here below I list my application submitting timeline.

02May: Medical done
25May: Late Friday, submitted my documents to VAC
28May: Embassy received my documentation.
04June: study permit stamped.
13June: got my passport.

Unfortunately or fortunately for me, I will not go to Canada. Because I was selected as an alternate candidate of Fulbright. Now budget is available for alternate candidates. I know it just today. So I will go to USA. and have question about it, is it OK if I travel to Canada on my vacation using this study permit?

What did I tell you, Its a visa . Fulbright is better as its free education as well as pocket money. Not sure but will be a problem.
