I recently got the accepentance from university of Toronto and I'm about to apply for the study permit. The length of the program is two years. I'm currently studying in the USA on an F1 visa and I don't have the US citizenship or the green card. I'm from Yemen and we don't have a Canadian embassy so I'm goning to apply from the US. I have my son who is 11 months old and I'm trying to take him with me to canada as a dependent. My son is a US citizen. My question is: does he need a visa or a study permit to live with me in Canada for two years? If he does which type of a visa should I apply him for?
