My original Study Permit expires like 6 months before graduation because my old passport did so. I renewed it and applied for an extension in July 2023 but i haven't heard from IRCC since. I saw someone say that they might not renew my permit at all since I will maintain status anyways because of the extension length. Is this true? please help! I had plans to travel but I need to know so I can cancel them since leaving Canada will make me lose the implied status. Thank you!
