My wife used the new portal to apply for study permit extension. The application got approved after 3 days and she received the original passport request.
The problem is that study permit extensions don't require original passport request but rather an "In Canada Approval letter" should be issued online then a study permit should be sent to the address.
We're kinda blocked and we don't know what to do. Did we use the wrong portal? The same details were given as in the old portal. Maybe the new portal is only for new study permits and not renewals? and if so, why don't they precise this?
It's almost impossible to get hold of an agent on the call center..
