I am from Pakistan and got admitted to the Master's program of Big Data at Simon Fraser University.
I had recently(a month ago) got married and planning to apply for study permit along with my wife (visit visa).

I wanted to know my chances of getting a visa. Following are some points for evaluation:
1) Strong joint bank statements with my brother.
2) Multiple Properties jointly owned by me and my brother. Some owned only by me.
3) My wife is currently doing her masters completing in June. My session starts Septemeber.
4) I have 3 years of work experience working in a profession strongly related to the program I applied in
5) My wife has no work experience, No solid bank statement or assets in her name. (She's going to be my dependent)
6) I might be able to get leaves from my employer for Masters.

Please recommend how should I file my application. what are the weak points that i should cover for?

Looking for swift insightful responses.

Regards,

Faisal Farouk

5. Even if she is going to be your dependent, still she will have to satisfy VO that she will leave Canada at the end of her stay. Your profile won't help her directly.

Is it possible that she can mention her intent to change visit status to an open work permit for the time of my studies?
