Study Permit and Extended Family COVID Exemption

Hi there,

Earlier this year I applied for and received a travel exemption to visit my boyfriend in Canada using the "Extended Family" exemption. I am now planning on applying for a study permit - will this impact my application? E.g. will the visa officer deny my permit because he knows I have a Canadian citizen boyfriend in the country?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
