Study or visitor visa?

Hi. I have 16yo son. Husband has work permit. What visa should we apply for him? Study or visitor then apply for study once in Canada? If study what do we put in the school details of CIC form if he doesnt have acceptance letter yet? Thanks.

When a minor is accompanying an adult who has a work permit believe they get a visitor record for same time period as the work permit .
