STUDENT WORK PERMIT APPLICATION!!!

Hi house!!!
I am about to apply for my study visa as I have secured admission in BC, please when is the right time to apply for my student work permit since I am looking forward to landing few months to the school start date. Should I apply for my student work permit the same time I am applying for my visa?
Your useful guide will be appreciated...

There is no such thing as a student work permit, you can work 20 hours a week during semesters and full time during scheduled breaks (Christmas, possibly summer, etc.) just on study permit, but you can NOT start working before you actually begin your studies. I would strongly advise against landing a few months in advance - if you tell Border Services you're coming to Canada early so you can work before starting school, they might not even let you in.

@ Elukuu, thanks, are you saying that all I need is just the study permit? A friend of mine left October for Feb., session resumption,and he started work 2days after his arrival. Lol....
