1: Rejection depends on a lot of factors and not just your previous education.
2: In your situation, you should not be applying for a Post secondary program.
3: In your SOP you should mention why you intent to take that particular program.
4: 3 years gap : Hopefully you worked those 3 years as the past 10 years history should not have a gap of more then 2 months in it.
