Student Visa while PR application is in Process

Hi,

My wife's application for PR is in process since August 10th, 2010 (Damascus, Syria) and now she got accepted at McMaster University for her Masters.

Due to unknown timing for her PR application as they keep telling us is in final stage, can she enter Canada using student visa?

Will student visa affect her PR application or is she allowed to enter Canada via student Visa or tourist Visa during the PR processing time?

Yes, she can enter with a student visa if she receives it.

No, it won't impact her PR application and yes she can enter Canada on the student visa while the PR is processing.
