student visa success rate under university category

I have been looking for information about visa success rate of university category files but I am unable to find any such information on the internet.

If someone has this information from any source, please comment.

As far as I know, there is a slightly higher success rate for university than college applicants. Of course this also depends on many other factors such as your academic results, language test results, SOP, funds and scholarships received etc.

recieved VFS email saying my passport dispatched to my home address today(15/04/2016).

But i have not recieved any email from CIC. Is it compulsory to get email after vfs email if my visa is approved???

No not just Indians. I am not Indian and I'm still submitting it. It's very important as you get to explain many things to the visa officer such as why do you want this particular program, why canada, your education and work experience etc.
I strongly recommend you write a SOP

Like
1. More than 90%
2. Between 80-90%
3. Between 70-80%
4. Less than 70%
