Hello.

I am asking for help since my wife and I applied for a the Student Visa and a work permit for me. She already got the college acceptance which is St. Lawrence in Kingston, Ontario. The master is bussiness and marketing. It last 2 years. We have applied twice, the fisrt time they said it was rejected because we did not have enough funds, which is completly false since we have more than 50.000 USD, 2 cars, and one appartment, and we 2 have a job.

The second time we were told to write a letter explaining why we are not agree with it. It was just 2 days later on December 31. We went to the Canadian embassy in Caracas, Venezuela and we waited until the last person for the answer there were not too many people, only 6. They gave us a different letter and it was marked, that is was rejected becuase they think we are not going to come back to hour country after finishing the course and that we don't have enough ties to Venezuela. I think that jobs, cars and an appartment are enough ties to a country.

I can not beleive it. What do you think happened? Thanks in adcvace.

Feel sorry that you did not make it.
But I guess you were on weak grounds for showing ties and the best way to counter it was to mention your intentions clearly in cover letter.

See if I am to move to Canada, cars are disposable/sellable easily. Your jobs (I guess) would be gone after you travel from venzuela Then your appartment alone isnt enough to show ties.
May be you could have applied alone for the visa and brought your spouse later
Can you apply again?

Yes, they told me I can apply as long as my situation changes or if I have some documents that can clarify my situation. But yes, perhaps it is better if my wife applies alone. I am going to be her tie.
