I'm from the states and i applied to Brock University for Comp Sci and was accepted however with the condition that i get a certain mark in the end of the course.
I paid the tuition deposit within days of accepting my offer, and i received $5,000 as an award. I received the official paper from Brock saying that my offer is fully accepted.
I'm waiting to see if i get an official copy indicating that i received an award, if not then i have a copy that i printed out.
Unfortunately i took my final test for the class (MCV4U from ILC that is based in Toronto) Brock wants and I'm sure i did poorly on it. Brock is asking for a certain final
grade. I have 1 more chance to take the final test that i want to take in June.
My initial plan was to leave to Canada around June 12th or so. Why so early? I'm paying rent with my girlfriend, soon to be fiance, since May. I'm also trying to get an appointment with a academic advisor
. I wanted to know if I'm allowed to
go into Canada with some stuff. I'm planning on taking my test the week i get into Canada and i'll know the results within days of taking it. On the paper Brock recently sent, it seems like im
allowed to register for courses on June 15th and pay for them.
Q- Will I be allowed to enter Canada with what i have from Brock University and other papers i need for the study permit? Taking the test in ILC's actual offices is quicker so by the end of June, Brock would know my actual grade. In which my offer will be fully accepted, being that i met their requirement.
I have proof that i can pay for school, and living expenses. I have the contract i signed with my girlfriend of the place we're renting out. I have the papers from Brock. I'll be making a list and estimate cost of what I'm bringing into Canada, which is barely anything and other important documents. Documents for the car that I'm bringing into Canada as well.
I would be applying through the border when i enter Canada or after I know that i met the requirements from Brock. Depends on what the agent says.
Please help! I messaged one of the staff at Brock who helped me since September so I'll be on the look out for his email as well.
Thank you.
