Hi there!! So I have a very important question and I would appreciate all the help I can get. My husband loves in Colombia and is going to apply for a student visa to come to Canada, once he applies he will add me on his papers so I eventually will get an open work permit. Here is the thing, I'm already here in Canada as a live in caregiver and I do have a work permit but is just limited. Will my husband's actions or desicion to come will affect me somehow? Do I have to tell the family that my work permit will change to open work permit?? The idea is for him to come and I will continue working for the family.
