Hello.

I have a few questions regarding my wife's open work permit.

Does she need a TOEFL or IELTS for her permit?

Does the employer recommendations need to be in english originally or in our native language and then translated into english?

What are her chances if she is currently unemployed?

Thank you

1. No
2. Recommendation for what?
3. If she need a TRV, or applying from her country, chances are slim to none.

2. well at the visa office they told us she needs recommendations from her former employers and a CV in english if she is applying for a work permit.

3. So do you think that she will have a better chance if I go first on my study visa and then she applies afterwards?

Hi there,

I've been accepted to study at a public college in Ottawa. I'd like to apply for my visa and my husband's open work visa myself.

We are both out of Canada. Wanted to know if we can apply for both of our visas at the same time and also if we need a flight back to our country as a proof that we do not intend to stay permanently when we apply for the visas.

Thank you very much in advance!
Nat.
