student permit question/advice

Hello,
I have apply for my student permit for almost a year now and I still never got a response from the immigration. I apply already for 2 session at the school and got accepted and still haven't heard anything. Do you think I should re apply again for school and then the student permit as well. any advice?

So you applied a year ago and never heard back. Have you ever sent a webform or ordered GCMS notes to see status of your file? So you have been attending school without a study permit?

Reapply with a new LOA from the school.

Hi thank you for your response. So basically I applied outside of Canada for the University of Montreal in January 2021 and got accepted in march 2021 and then apply for my permit end of march and never heard from immigration. The school told me to re apply for the next session which is Winter 2022 which I did and also did a webform and never heard from the immigration. what's a GCMS and LOA ? I know for sure the school gonna close my document starting January 6th. Do you think I can apply to another school and do another student visas with that school ?

So you had a CAQ to apply for study permit when you applied at the end of March? if so you got a CAQ really quickly. LOA is letter of acceptance. If you want to attend another school, you need to reapply for a new study permit. At this time, you may want to look at reapplying with another school.
