Dear everyone,
I am an american citizen planning to study at the Université de Montréal in September 2010. I have received my CAQ from Quebec and I intend to apply for my study permit at the port of entry. I will arrive in Montréal on August 1st when my CAQ becomes valid. If all my documents are in order will my study permit be issued to me in the airport, if it is not denied? Or will it be mailed to my home address?
Also, I am suppose to visit Athens, Greece on August 3rd until August 11th. If I apply in the airport for my study permit, but do not receive the permit am I allowed to leave Canada and return to Canada on August 11th to begin my studies in September pending the validation of my study permit? Or would I have to leave Canada and re-apply for a study permit at a Visa Office outside of Canada?
