TODAY I WENT TO CHC DELHI N TALKED TO THEN ABOUT STRIKE
they said there is nothing with strike and Visas
Student Visas and every kind of temporary Visas are being processed as commonly done.
and he said Study Visa usually takes 15 days in thees days as its doing fine

did you go by taking a prior appointment or just walked in?
what documents did you carry ... were you asked anything at security , any info about your visa application .... share your experience in detail bhai.

Thank you for the info dude! Had no way of knowing that here in Mumbai.

i was there with one of my friend applying For Visa
then i asked the guy who was checking Dockuments
that how much time it will take for processing
he said as usual it takes i said how much it usually takes
he said 15 days.
then i said what about STRIKE..?
he replied strike is nothing to do with Student Visa
as the High commission employees knows that Classes
are going to start and students should reach there by time
thats it then he said
Best of luck. :)
then V said Thankyou ;)

Nice!

then what happened to Consulate General Chandigarh they arent responding to the application who applied in the start of june. 15 working days are over n 21 days gone still no status change. Usually Chandigarh application processing is so fast, my brother got visa in just 2 days last year n all my friends from punjab also got their visas in a week .

Chandigarh seems worst affected by strike, people who applied in may end havent got their visas yet. Nobody knows when will they start processing

Bai, I don't think so, they cannot leave their designated posts and work somewhere else.
Maybe, they are just doing this as part of strike.. more applications goto Delhi, so they r processing but at slow pace, not everyone is getting visas early there. All this is due to strike, they want government to listen to them..

I have submitted my complete application on 22nd May, was rcvd on 23rd May at Chandigarh Consulate. It is still under processing from that time. Got to know that strike started from 5th June. But visas are being granted in Delhi.

University Category
IELTS 7

Fingers crossed.. .. Still hoping for the best to see results this week.
