Stolen work permit. Is an original copy required for CoPR landing?

My work permit was stolen and I have a CoPR that I need to validate. Do I need the original copy of my work permit for my PR landing process? Verification of Status to get a replacement has a 6 month processing time at the moment so I am afraid I will not get it in time for my landing. Wondering if anyone has been in the same situation.
